to legally place my car under total status.
Here's the story. The adjuster advised me that my car's value is at $10,812. They are responsible for only 100% of the damages to the rear of my car and 30% of the front and for 70% of the value of the car. If they are offering me $7,569(which is 70% of the total value of my car, do they still have the right to place my car in a 'totaled' status since they are not paying $8,109(which is 75% of the value of my car)?
I want to repair my car being that I owe $16,000 on it and I don't have GAP insurance. My car is 100% repairable. The repair shop is telling me that the total repair cost are $7500 but the insurance company is saying that they are not paying to have the vehicle repaired but will cut me a check for the $7569 and I will still keep the my car and I can do whatever I want to do with the check, get the car repair and etc..I don't agree with placing my car in total status because I will have to get a salvage license on the title
This is the insurance company of the person who rear ended my car. They say that they are only paying for 30% because I did bump the car in front of me which caused very little damage to the front and to the rear of the car in front of me…and folks when I say little I mean a little…… like a scratch of paint about 5 inches long, before their client hit me while going at least 55mph pushing me even further into the back of the car in front of me…but that is another story…….

I don't want to accept that offer if they are going to place my car into a totaled status…..
who can or what do I do?

All I want is my car repaired. That is it…….I am not even worried about a rental car right now, i just want my car repaired.
to answerer Oklaton….how can I sell the car if it has $7500 of repair damage and I don't hold the title to it and I owe the finance company $16k?

I have never been in a car accident before and have never dealt with insurance companies before so I am very lost when it comes to this.

Auto Salvage Ga
