So i found this goood deal on a salvaged Bmw and i dont care for the salvaged title but it says that it had water damage/flood in florida. So is it bad too buy a car that went through a flood??
will it be an easy repair? will all the electrical stuff be damaged? Will it even start? its practically being given away so thats why im considering. any help?

They're a pain. You have to replace all the interior, a lot of the electronics and maybe overhaul the engine and then hope that later on down the road corrosion doesn't creep in and ruin it all over again. Why are being practically given away? because the insurance payed off on them and the owner wants no part of the headaches. Flooded in FL probably means salt water and that just makes it ten times worse. Not a good deal even for free.

There also may be restrictions on whether you can legally put it on the road again as well. This varies from state to state and varies depending on the kind of salvage title.
All in all, like noted above, it's asking for a whole lot of trouble, especially with all the electronics and computer controls.

Previous salvage you can get a tag for. Salvage you cannot.
Flood cars can have extensive electrical problems for years. Or none at all. Assume the worst.
