Never assume carfax is wrong on a rebuild.

But, the fact that its been 7 years suggests if it was going to have been problems, it would have already had them.

So, instead of being worth 50-60%, it might be worth 70-75%.

But don't plan on selling it. you will lose your ****.

I would not have much faith in anything Carfax says. In my opinion they are just a scam. If the car were in fact rebuilt it would have a salvage title. To make sure check the car carefully for prior accidents. Check all the doors, trunk lid and hood looking for anything that does not fit correctly. Look under the hood and in the trunk for unrepaired damage. Check all the paint for mismatches. Finally put the car on a lift and check everything underneath including the frame.
