Can I take this up with the dealership?
I purchased a car about 2 years ago. I am not happy with it at all.
It is a Toyota Solara and the back shakes very very bad. From the looks of the paint, the back fender may have been replaced, which means the previous owner ( it was a used car) got into an accident and did not note it to an insurance company- because it was not listed on the carmax report.
I **** the sound and do not want to spend good money to get it fixed- the shaking was light but continued to get worse.
Shouldn't the dealership who sold me the card do a full inspection and disclose any information of possible rear end damage, or a salvaged title.
Also, is there a way I can get the card check out by an auto body shop and see if they can determine and past auto body work and them take this to the better business bureau? Its been about 2 years…could it possibly be too late?
Also, I do plan on getting the car back in good condition and would like to use it as a trade in, any tips on how to use a car you still owe money on as a trade in. Thanks

Sure, you can take it up with them.
And they will tell you it's tough luck.
Unless you bought the car brand new, it was sold as-is. Which means you had every chance to inspect the car PRIOR to buying it.
And now that it's 2 years, all they have to do is ask you to prove that YOU didn't damage it, and that's the problem.
And since you're unable to prove that you didn't cause the problem, there's no case at all.
The BBB will tell you that they'll look into it. Find ZERO wrong, and dismiss it altogether.
You shouldn't be lost, because it's simple to figure out.
You shouldn't be upset, because you should be aware of the situation, and should have done something long ago. Ridiculous to be upset now….
